The international press won’t show that Israel is fighting in the most humanitarian way.
Most liberal Westerners lack an accurate paradigm in which to view the events in the Middle East. The modern, progressive, liberal democracy of Israel is not seeking to punish poor Arabs. Rather she is liberating 1.4 million hostages from the grip of 35,000 Hamas terrorist, extremist thugs.
Israel is fighting the Iranian proxy at its door step that also threatens the entire Middle East, Europe and North America as well. There are still more “battle grounds” in this war where the results are also tragic. But they were tragic for the good guys such as Mumbai, New York’s twin towers and Darfur, Sudan.
When idiotic dictators attack Israel, eventually she responds. The terrorist who rule Gaza invited disaster upon themselves and their captive, hostage, citizens. Their theologically inspired pathetic political philosophy is simply anti-Semitic and dangerously seasoned with immature fantasies of glory.
In an interview Saturday, Jan 10 2009, Egyptian labour Minister Aisha Abed el-Hadi said that the Hamas leadership had “adopted a radical, terrorist approach,” which was causing untold suffering to Gazans, especially because of its “stubborn refusal to agree to a cease fire with Israel.”
We in the West drink the feel good “kool-aid” of sympathy for pre-middle ages, totalitarian, apocalyptic, oppressive regimes. The drink is served by a willing liberal Western media who aid and abet our enemy in their pathological manipulation of the news.
Our challenge is to appreciate that Israel is in fact using many very benevolent means to alleviate the suffering that is going on in Gaza. Everyone knows a quicker, more efficient but unspeakable way to stop the Hamas regime. W.W. II ended with these methods.
But Israel is prosecuting a humanitarian method of warfare. The human cost of a few hundred or a few thousand deaths out of 1,400,000 Hamas hostages is the price Hamas is paying rather than simply stopping firing rockets across the border on to 1,000,0000 Arab and Jewish citizens in South Israel.
Rescuing hostages as I present here is dangerous and imperfect for combatants and non-combatants and please include international press and thier viewers opinions.
But given the pitiable wisdom of the Hamas regime in Gaza, Israeli aerial bombing and troop saturation is the humanitarian way.

Bruce, despite all that has been shown here you can still say what you are saying? I am not questioning the politics behind the war because we can argue that till Kingdom come and neither side will concede. What shocks me and anyone who views these videoclips is not ideology or propaganda but senseless killing. I cannot hold every Israeli responsible for the decision their Government made becuase there are many people of goodwill among them and in this world, as an earlier commentor has pointed out. You cannot justify any of this wanton destruction of human life nor excuse it from whatever side you are on. If Hamas was equipped with all the arsenal at Israel’s disposal and carried out such killings as blatantly, the whole world would be at their doorstep to condemn them.
You forget, whatever ills that bodes Israel, they only seem to point to Islam. Remember 9/11 and the beginning of America’s war on terror? Have you heard of looking at the other side of the coin? More and more people have begun to question what really happened on that fateful day. But then, if you refuse to see the possibility that Islam had nothing to do with it, there is no point in discussing anything with you is there? Hitler and the Nazi’s was not a creation of Islam. Israel took land that belonged to Palestine and guess who they (Israel) are killing now? No one can excuse the horrific killing of civilians in Gaza. No one disputes that there are casualties in Israel, but this wanton destruction of human lives is beyond comprehension. Let the international media in to see what is really happening. I thought the argument was that the media is always biased in favour of Israel but you strangely seem to think otherwise. If the media practices it’s own ethics, when truth stares you in the face, will you still deny it? That would be inhuman!
